The Forever Purge (2021)

Endless shadows rap at your nerves in the fevered world of The Forever Purge, a horror‑thriller that turns a former 12‑hour ritual into a 24‑hour nightmare, forcing a lawless sect to pursue a family of immigrants with dwindling hope. The film shatters expectations with a relentless 24‑hour chase captured in disorienting handheld frames that make even seasoned thriller lovers feel trapped behind barbed wire. A standout element is the visceral hand‑held pacing that pushes the viewer into a wall of brutality and urgency. Pacing fumbles briefly between the mid‑act vignettes, but the relentless energy resurges before it fully dissolves. You will be taken if you thrive on raw socio‑political horror that never lets you breathe.
