Spellbound (2024)

When a thunderous spell turns ordinary family into titanic beasts, you find yourself strapped to a high stakes quest that blends mythic danger with teenage angst. What sets Spellbound apart is its daring decision to let the heroine’s voice carry the narrative, giving every hesitation a resonant weight that keeps you tuned in. The practical monster effects, tall, textured, and surprisingly human, stand out as a visceral anchor that grounds the fantastical stakes. Fans of YA fantasy who crave character depth will appreciate every choice made. The only drawback is that the second act stretches a bit longer than necessary, leaving a rhythm hiccup.
