Saw X (2023)

You slide into the blackened lobby of Saw X, a psychological horror that revives the franchise’s hallmark ferocity. The film shuffles beyond mere gore to expose a corrosive con game, forcing the infamous Jigsaw to weaponize his own philosophy. The standout is a bio-erosion chamber that turns a simple hydrotherapy pool into a living nightmare, leaving you breathless. You’ll appreciate the gritty ingenuity if you’re drawn to darkly clever survival puzzles and cerebral dread. Runtime hiccups and a thinner middle act make moments drag, but that’s the price of chasing a fresh cruelty in a familiar world.
