Terrifier 3 (2024)

You remember the feeling when a clown repurposes a holiday feast into a nightmare that starts with the twinkle of a Christmas tree. Terrifier 3 leverages the absurd contrast of festive cheer and Art's twisted violence to deliver a horror flavor that feels both familiar and utterly unsettling. The most striking element is Art's relentless manic energy, which turns a quiet living room into a riot of gore that feels like a carnival of terror. Ideal guests are those who relish on-the-edge comedy followed by heart-pounding scares, and who appreciate a film that blends horror with a touch of holiday mischief. The film does evidence of pacing wobble, as the middle third drags when the suspense hits a lull.
