Obsession (2026)

Expect a darkly literary ride that questions the very nature of desire and the cost of modern happiness. This dark fantasy film establishes a rich, unsettling mythology centered around the titular 'One Wish Willow,' making the magical rules feel both deeply personal and foreboding. The standout moment arrives during the climax, when the protagonist realizes the emotional fallout of his wish, forcing a genuinely uncomfortable confrontation with reality. While the setup takes its time laying out the esoteric rules of the Willow, the resulting philosophical meditation on regret makes this a truly mesmerizing cinema experience for thoughtful viewers.
