Lightyear (2022)

Imagine stepping into the cockpit of a starship. Lightyear, the animated sci‑fi adventure, places you beside a legendary Space Ranger on an interstellar quest. The standout is the crisp, gleaming CGI that turns every asteroid field into a fireworks show for the eyes. You’ll appreciate the quirky dynamic between Buzz and his robot sidekick Sox, who delivers comic relief and moments of introspection. The film balances family‑friendly humor with a dash of genuine courage, ensuring it’s entertaining on both a solo‑watch and group‑watch level. However, the pacing can feel a tad sluggish in the middle act, but its stellar visuals keep you engaged.
