Wildwood (2026)

Picture the moment a troop of crows swallows your baby brother — the world instantly morphs into a living fairytale that pulls you in before you can breathe. Wildwood transforms the impassable wilderness into an animated mosaic of talking foxes, echoing bandits, and whispering trees that feel less like set pieces and more like characters sprung from Portland’s own lore. The standout moment is when Prue confronts the crow king under a canopy of bioluminescent vines, each frame a master study in shadow and color that leaves you holding your breath. Except for a few dragging moments around the middle act, the film rewards you with a relentless chase that feels both nostalgic and fresh.
