Wellwood (2025)

In Wellwood, a sci‑fi drama that staggers on a slow‑burn tone, you’ll find the line between hope and obsession razor‑thin. The story pivots on a quiet extraterrestrial discovery that turns every frame into a seismic revelation of doubt. Joaquin Phoenix carries every scene with almost no dialogue, turning silence into a raging storm of emotion. While the pacing stutters slightly in the middle act, the unsettling visuals keep the tension alive, ensuring the film stays fresh. You’ll be drawn in especially if you appreciate character‑driven stories that push moral boundaries.
