Plot Summary

Four hikers become trapped in a mysterious village after getting lost in a mountain foot market said to be an interdimensional gateway. There, the world turns strange—graveyards with no headstones, grinning bald figures, puppets with no puppeteer, and cult rituals dancing atop corpses. It all leads to one chilling truth: those who are trapped can never leave. The village is preparing a dark ritual to fill the hamlet with the dead. Faced with harrowing choices, can they survive—and make it home alive?

Must Watch

As you stumble through a mist‑laden ridge, a fog‑veiled village lunges out of the mountain’s shadow, a place where the ordinary folds into the unreal. The village itself feels like a living puzzle, its crumbling graveyards and grinning figures pointing toward a raw, otherworldly dread that grips you from the first frame. Joaquin Phoenix carries the quiet terror, his almost silent presence pulling the narrative’s pulse through a wall of suspense. If psychological terror and sensory overload are your palate, this will not let you turn away. Though the second act drags a touch longer than the rest, the effort never feels wasted.
