Upon the Magic Roads (2021)

Prepare to see your imagination ignite in a lighthearted, romantic adventure fantasy where John the Fool and his horse Foal race along shifting paths of wonder. The film's playful choreography turns each world into an ever‑changing amusement park, inviting you to feel the pulse of surprise. A standout moment arrives when Foal leaps through a portal of stardust, and you can't help but realize the story cares as deeply about friendship as it does about destiny. Yet the pacing skids a touch in the middle, as the narrative inserts a slower reflective beat that leaves the momentum humming at half speed. If you yearn for a breezy, feel‑good escape hearkening to the tones of Stardust and The Princess Bride, this will be a sweet reward.
