Umamusume: Pretty Derby - Beginning of a New Era (2024)

Imagine the first light of morning turning the stadium into a glowing arena and you can hear your heart sync with the far‑off rumble of galloping horses. The film’s instant appeal lies in its fusion of vivid, fluid animation and a soundtrack that shouts energy without a single spoken line. The standout moment comes when a soaring orchestral swell rises as Jung‑e and her team break barriers, turning the screen into a living mural of motion. A minor stumble in pacing occurs as the middle act stretches the tempo, but it never drains the overall intensity. You’ll find it most rewarding if you are drawn to animated sports stories that fire up hope and celebrate relentless perseverance.
