The Roundup: Punishment (2024)

You are pulled into a shadowy web of stacked loyalties where the line between lawman and outlaw blurs. This crime thriller fuses gritty on-ground policing with a finely woven cyber-crime narrative that keeps you guessing which allegiance carries the greater weight. The unexpected alliance between Ma Seok-do and the former corruption boss delivers a razor‑sharp, oxygen‑thief confrontation that feels like a broken hourloom questioning every gesture. Still, the rush toward the finale lingers a beat too long, leaving the final staccato beats feeling half‑formed. You’ll find it irresistible if you crave high-pressure crime sagas that thrash your mind as fiercely as they chase the suspect.
