The Red Book Ritual: Gates of Hell (2025)

You feel the weight of a forgotten ritual pressing on your chest as a group of teens push through the creaking hallway of an abandoned house. It turns a conventional séance into an intense psychological descent, letting each participant’s secret doubts become a conduit for dread. The film’s standout is the camera’s lingering eye on Robbie’s face, capturing his terror in a fractured, almost whispered monologue that refuses to give up its secrets. The pacing hitches midway through the second act, letting adrenaline momentarily stall before the horror escalates again. If you like dread that hums beneath obvious terror, this film will resonate.
