The Rats: A Witcher Tale (2025)

At minute seven of the opening chase, neon bleeds into gritty streets, promising a heist with a fantasy twist. The film’s biggest hook lies in how a misfit gang of six outlaws must trust a washed‑out Witcher, a blend rarely seen in crime thrillers. Joaquin Phoenix pulls each scene with a wet‑kissed grin while trading a dagger for exposition, anchoring the chaotic crew with a weary charisma that feels almost like a foil to the city’s neon. Ideal for viewers craving adrenaline‑pulled bank pours delivered with a sharp, sarcastic edge; however, an early drag in the build‑up can make the suspense feel uneven.
