Our Take
Expert, independent review by the HollyFlixHD Editorial Team
When the elevator doors part at midnight, you feel the weight of your own survival pressing up and down. In this psychological thriller, the architects of food allocation manifest as a living ecosystem, turning each elevator stop into a microscopic crucible. Joaquin Phoenix channels a silent fury, his presence a constant, whispered threat that keeps the audience breathing on edge. A sluggish stretch lingers halfway through, pulling the tension into a drag. You’ll crave this if you enjoy cinema that unspools consciousness like a needle through blood.
