The Naked Gun (2025)

You feel the jolt of adrenaline as the plate glides across a grimy alley— that's the punch you get with The Naked Gun, a crime‑comedy that folds in sharp satire. Lt. Frank Drebin Jr. becomes the wild card, mixing relentless gumshoe grit with absurd jokey flair that only a single man can deliver. Joaquin Phoenix delivers each line with a deadpan cadence that turns a simple gag into cinematic timing gold. The only slight snag is a slow‑burning middle that drags a little before the finale spikes right back up. If quick wit laced with slapstick action is your kind of fuel, the film keeps your laugh track on point and your energy soaring.
