Our Take
Expert, independent review by the HollyFlixHD Editorial Team
The Killer (2022) drops you into a greyscale alley where a retired assassin eyes his best friend’s daughter. Unlike conventional action‑thrillers, it drips tension as a slow‑burn psychological study, turning each street encounter into an unsettling game of trust. Patrik Isaksson delivers a study in restrained fury, with his stone‑face performance punctuating the film’s brutal calm. You’ll appreciate it if you thrive on gritty realism and moral gray zones. A pacing glitch in the middle, when the investigation stalls, dilutes the mounting tension.
