The Bride! (2026)

You’ll feel a cold drip crawl up your spine as the film redefines what a living, breathing horror thriller can be. A forlorn Frankenstein, set against 1930s Chicago, finds a genius in Dr. Euphronious, and together they birth The Bride—a soul that upends their every expectation. The movie shines when Joaquin Phoenix’s quiet intensity anchors every frame, letting the haunting atmosphere breathe like a living thing. Yet the midsection lags; the slow unfolding gives nerves more time to fray than to grow. If you crave a tense, thoughtful chase through moral ambiguity, you’re in the right place.
