The Bikeriders (2024)

You step onto an open highway in the Midwest and hear the thump of a motorcycle engine like a heartbeat begging you to follow. Unlike glossy biker epics, this crime thriller unflinchingly probes the club’s underworld, letting the danger seep into the frame through rain‑slick city streets instead of fireworks. The midsection stumbles into melodrama, offering long stretches of slow scene reloads that thin the tension a bit. The standout is the director’s knack for holding a single shot of an empty parking lot under a neon sign—over sixty seconds of camera work that feels like a slow‑motion interrogation. You crave a pump‑up chase that keeps your heart racing while you feast on somber guitar loops, so this will have you glued to the screen.
