The Beekeeper (2024)

Sunlit riverbanks turn into a hunting ground when you meet the quiet hunter who will stop at nothing to taste justice. The film blends a low‑key thriller with the unsettling aura of a covert conspiracy, making every whispered exchange feel like a threat. Joaquin Phoenix, playing the ex‑Operative, anchors the tension with a tense performance that requires little to say; his glances alone convey redemption or malice. However, the pacing in the second act slows when the organization’s depth is revealed, a momentary lull that feels out of place. Regardless, the lingering dread that follows leaves you reaching for the seatbelt of your mind.
