Thanksgiving (2023)

A chill settles over Plymouth as dusk falls, and the town's historic holiday becomes a stage for terror. The film's unsettling blend of traditional holiday imagery with sudden violence turns the familiar Thanksgiving card into a cryptic warning that keeps you on edge. The cinematography turns every streetlight into a slasher’s spotlight, crafting a noir‑slick visual score that makes each frame feel like a step deeper into dread. However, the midsection drags a bit as the map of motive unravels, making the pacing feel like a holiday dinner that lags before the final bite. If you crave a Halloween vibe wrapped in gratitude, this horror thriller will invite you to taste the dark side of tradition.
