Our Take
Expert, independent review by the HollyFlixHD Editorial Team
Remember the teasing that turned into friendship? The light‑hearted anime draws you into a sunlit junior high where Takagi and Nishikata balance pranks and potential romance. The standout comes in Hana the kitten, whose cutesy antics weave a nostalgia that feels like a soft collage of childhood. For you, the film offers a gentle break from high‑stakes romances, letting heart flutter without stakes. While the middle act lags just a touch, it leaves little unresolved to spoil the sweet finish.
