Tangles (2026)

Like a cracked mirror, a fading mind throws every reflection into disarray. Tangles, a quiet psychological drama, unflinchingly follows a headstrong student as she returns to her conservative hometown to care for her mother. The standout element is the mother’s undeniable humor, captured with such raw sincerity that you can almost hear her scold the silence of the dementia clinic. However, the mid‑section drags a little, slowing the emotional build‑up you expect from a story about loss. If you crave a film that turns memory into a living, breathing acquaintance, Tangles will keep you staring long after the credits roll.
