Sword Art Online the Movie – Progressive – Scherzo of Deep Night (2022)
You will definitely become stronger.
Plot Summary
Over a month has passed since 10,000 users were trapped inside the "Sword Art Online" world. Asuna, who cleared the first floor of the floating iron castle of Aincrad, joined up with Kirito and continued her journey to reach the top floor. With the support of female Information Broker Argo, clearing the floors seemed to be progressing smoothly, but conflict erupts between two major guilds who should be working together – the top player groups ALS (the Aincrad Liberation Squad) and DKB (the Dragon Knights Brigade). And meanwhile, behind the scenes exists a mysterious figure pulling the strings…
Our Take
Expert, independent review by the HollyFlixHD Editorial Team
A seismically charged chapter in a beloved virtual reality saga grips you from the first pixel. It fuses the thrill of a video‑game grind with an unexpected political war between rival guilds, a twist you haven’t seen in anime. The high‑octane battle choreography between ALS and DKB, rendered in striking 3D detail, pulls you into a frenetic tug‑of‑war that feels almost like a real tournament. The pacing slows a touch mid‑act, jacking up the tension only to let it breathe, a small flaw amid otherwise relentless world‑building. You will find it irresistible if you crave strategic conflict, deeper lore, and a push beyond the original story.
