Straight (2024)

If the hum of your city after midnight feels like routine, you’ll be jolted into a quiet rebellion when you watch a banker sacrifice sleep for secret nights. Straight, an intimate drama, blends glossy finance with whispered yearning in a tone that feels like a muted storm. The most striking moment arrives when the camera holds a freeze on the lead’s subtle eye flicker, letting you feel the chemistry between a seasoned banker and a fifteen‑year‑old novelty without a single line of dialogue. You’ll appreciate this film when you love stories that let character, not plot, take center stage, and you’re not afraid to linger on the silence between scenes. However the story sometimes drags in the third act as the pacing lags behind the emotional build.
