Plot Summary
Stories of Great Collections is a documentary about the phenomenon of private collecting in Russia. Its central figure, Nazim Mustafayev, has assembled a substantial holding: more than 2,500 landmark pairs of shoes and outfits from the mid-19th century to the present. The collection became the basis of the online museum Shoe Icons; individual pieces have entered the State Hermitage Museum.
