Speak No Evil (2024)

When an American family slips into what appears to be a charming British getaway, you’ll keep your eyelids on the edge. Speak No Evil (2024) crumbles the veneer of a tranquil estate into a slow‑burn psychological thriller where the land itself acts as an uneasy witness. The film's standout is Joaquin Phoenix, whose performance thrives on a single, unspoken line that thickens the tension with each deliberate pause. Pacing lags in the middle act, but the uneasy crescendo delivers a jaw‑dropping climax that forces you to reexamine every quiet moment. Ideal for fans of psychological thrillers who enjoy non‑linear storytelling, this tense odyssey will have you questioning what lurks behind the smiles.
