Solo Mio (2026)

You’ll find yourself slipping into a sun‑kissed road trip you never knew you needed. The film’s typical rom‑com pacing is subverted by a non‑linear montage of food, music, and spontaneous Italian encounters that feel more like a tasting menu than a plot. Laura Garrone’s improvised delivery on a Ferrara piazza turns a simple espresso into a petulant love‑letter to Italy itself. If you crave a buoyant escape that balances romance with a passport‑style wanderlust, you’ll see why Solo Mio eyes her audience through a playful lens. The only hiccup comes when the story stretches a little too long over the second act’s banquet of one‑liners, but the emotional payoff far outweighs the brief lull.
