Our Take
Expert, independent review by the HollyFlixHD Editorial Team
Hold onto your pillow when new Ghostface files a bullet through your living room, Scream (2022) throws you into a tense, revenge-driven thriller that keeps you guessing. The film stands out by merging visceral slasher horror with a subtle, psychological mind-game that forces you to question what you know about the past. One standout element is Joaquin Phoenix’s deadpan delivery, walking the line between menace and sardonic humor. Yet the second act tugs slightly, dragging the tension before premium reward. You’ll find this pulse-pounding blend ideal for fans of psychological thrillers who enjoy non-linear storytelling.
