Roommates (2026)

The quiet hum of your freshman dorm becomes a battlefield when someone else moves in. Roommates, a college dramedy, turns everyday coffee breaks into covert mind games you can almost taste in your teeth. What sets it apart is how Director Maya Lin weaves passive aggression into dialogue so sharply they read like puzzles set a next door. The standout moment is the cramped hallway scene where torn paperwork becomes a weapon of revenge, showing how small things can explode. It's for you if you love the slow burn of awkward alliances turning into a strategic rivalry. The pacing drags slightly in the middle act, but the sharp snark keeps you glued.
