Ride On (2023)

Ride On (2023) is a gritty comedy‑drama that follows a washed‑up stuntman and his horse as they turn a debt‑collector showdown into overnight internet gold. Ride On leverages unedited, shaky‑cam footage that makes the fight feel like a live feed, blurring the line between performance and reality. The film’s stunning use of live‑action camera work—especially the tension‑filled close‑ups of the horse’s eyes—offers a documentary‑like intimacy that keeps you rooted. The middle act slows a bit as the narrative drifts into depersonalized financial woes, but the payoff remains strong. You’ll love this if you crave absurd realism, indie satire, and the raw underbelly of internet fame.
