Resurrection (2025)

When a world trades dream for immortality, you find yourself in a landscape that blends nightmarish visions with uncanny beauty, forcing you to reconsider what it means to live. Its shimmering setpieces—a cascade of rain over mirrored glass—turn each scene into a sculpted dream, lifting the film beyond straightforward sci‑fi into a sensory meditation. The centerpiece is Elijah Quain’s haunting, almost monologuing portrayal of an outcast who conjures his own reality, delivering terror without words. The pacing thickens too slowly during the film’s mid‑section, making the second act feel elongated. Ideal for viewers who appreciate dark, introspective thrillers that rise above genre conventions.
