Poor Things (2023)

You’ll be pulled into the experimental drama Poor Things, where a resurrected curiosity sets a young woman on a globe‑twisting adventure. What makes its style distinct is the surreal mash‑up of Victorian whimsy and sharp modern critique, delivering a tone that feels like a living art‑installation. The most arresting moment claws at your nerves when Joaquin Phoenix collaborates a profanity‑laden monologue, like a soundtrack to a dream. A pacing glitch near the climax will leave you adrift, feeling as if the rush betrays the slow‑burn of liberation. You’re the one who should watch it – if you crave films that dissolve logic with playful audacity.
