Pleasure (2021)

A night‑time city frantic with neon lights draws you as Linnéa leaves her quiet Swedish town to chase fame in porn, and the film’s raw honesty makes the journey feel like an unvarnished confession. What sets it apart is its unflinching look at the adult industry, treating it as both a playground and a prison, and the disguise of a dramedy keeps the perspective relatable. One standout moment arrives when a physically intimate scene is framed from the street level camera, stripping any cinematic polish and forcing you to confront the character’s vulnerability head‑on. If you’re ready for a slow‑burn, character‑driven thrill that blurs morality and ambition, this drama will leave you questioning where desire ends and survival begins.
