Pinocchio: Unstrung (2026)

You step into a wooden nightmare where innocence morphs into obsession. Rhys Frake‑Waterfield subverts childhood nostalgia by turning Pinocchio into a flesh‑cannibalizing crusader, paired with a malevolent Cricket that whispers ambition. The film's centerpiece—a relentless, candlelit torture montage that turns the curse of creation into a visceral, pulse‑racing confession—will haunt your senses long after the credits. You will savor this if complex, atmospheric horror appeals to you, craving twisted fairy tales and psychological depth. The result is an unsettling, mythic gore‑filled journey that feels like a horror poem.
