Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway (2021)

Picture a backyard transforming into a popcorn-filled heist set, all from the comfort of your living room. Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway injects a noirish whisper into a vibrant, family-friendly animated adventure that feels unexpectedly sophisticated. The standout moment is when an older rabbit ropes Peter into a daring caper, and the resulting chase slides from gentle mischief to heart-pounding action with perfectly timed comic beats. The pacing spikes toward the climax, leaving the final resolution longer than necessary. Families and kids will laugh at the witty dialogue, while anyone who loves clever voice performances will enjoy each escapade.
