One Week Friends (2022)

Picture waking up each day to a blank page of memories, only to learn that each new chapter lasts forever. In this quiet psychological drama, the briefness of recall turns a typical high‑school setting into a playground for intimacy, as a persistent new student slowly chips away at the protagonist's repeating isolation. A standout moment occurs when their shared laughter collapses the buffer of time, turning the narrative into an almost tactile, fragile conversation. Your enjoyment may waver during the mid‑section's slight pacing lag, but the film’s subtle rhythm ultimately lands you in a more intimate space of trust. If you appreciate films that blend emotion with a cerebral mystery, this one invites you into its thought‑provoking silence.
