Once Upon a Studio (2023)

Backstage chaos unfolds when Mickey Mouse must arrange a photo opportunity for his legendary peers. The short uses its 90‑second runtime to pour a charming parade of beloved characters, each reacting with exaggerated, playful-features gestures that feel like a living family reunion. The standout moment is the unexpected harmony between the piano‑playing Mickey and a surprised Queen Guenevere, turning the montage into a joyful refrain. You’ll appreciate how the film frames each cameo with a crisp, light-hearted frame that still respects the animators’ traditional craft. A slight pacing hiccup occurs as the roll‑call of characters stretches a tad over the drawn‑up ending, but it hardly detracts from the sense of playful nostalgia.
