No Other Choice (2025)

Imagine the jarring sting of a termination notice landing in a seasoned paper mill manager's inbox, a bruise on his sense of dignity. The film turns that humiliation into a grim, moral dissection, refusing to romanticize revenge. Stellan Skarsgård delivers a raw, almost monologue-only performance that drives the claustrophobic heartbeats of the abandoned mill. An abrupt escalation toward the end sometimes feels rushed, but the emotional payoff remains resonant. Ideal for viewers who appreciate psychological thrillers that overlap with gritty realism and character study.
