No Hard Feelings (2023)

You might think a job ad turns into a rom‑com, but No Hard Feelings swings into a surprisingly tender love story with a dash of absurdity. It flips conventional dating tropes by having a financially secure mother hire a receptionist to mentor her son into the adult world. With sharp dialogue and an earnest performance from the actor playing Percy, the film turns awkward silences into fragile intimacy. A sluggish pacing in the second act leaves some jokes dragging, but the final burst of humor recaptures momentum. If comedic romance that leans into genuine character growth catches your eye, this quirky romantic‑comedy will comfort and amuse.
