Plot Summary
Anara is a nine-year old girl, who lives with her two grandmothers in Engilchek (Enilchek), a former Soviet militarized “secret city” in the mountains of Kyrgyzstan. The morning news of former Radio Moscow intrude into their existence which is slowly returning to pastural life.What are Anara’s perspectives? Join her mother as a migrant worker in Russia or grow up in desolate Engilchek?
