Marty, Life Is Short (2026)

Old-fashioned film reels erupt onto the screen, pulling you into Martin Short’s riotous world. In this documentary, classic clips mash with fresh interviews and star‑studded never‑before‑seen home movies, turning nostalgia into a living collage. The most striking element is a rare backstage home video where Short juggles spreadsheets and jokes, revealing the alchemy that fuels his humor. Midway, the pacing eases into a languorous past‑tense, testing the viewer’s patience. You’ll appreciate it most if you’re a fan of comedy legends and love the intimacy of personal storytelling.
