Our Take
Expert, independent review by the HollyFlixHD Editorial Team
When the classroom turns into an art competition, you’ll find yourself cheering for pencils rather than grades. Look Back pulls you in with its unconventional rivalry framed as an emerging coming‑of‑age drama that reimagines the Japanese shōjo aesthetic. The strongest moment arrives when the protagonist discovers the hidden sketchbook of her latest rival, turning a tense standoff into a shared burst of ink that feels like a visual confession. Ideal for an audience that lingers over the margins of adolescence, the story offers a bittersweet look at friendship forged on paper, and it invites you to feel the pulse of a quiet coming‑of‑age.
