Plot Summary
An absorbing, well-researched and unusual account of the battle of Long Tan, Vietnam in 1966, when an Australian patrol held off two heavily armed attacking Viet Cong regiments that outnumbered the Australians 20 to one. The story, told by both Viet Cong and Australian survivors of the battle with archival film, details the cat-and-mouse intelligence and counter-intelligence moves by both sides before the battle.
