Last Night in Soho (2021)

Imagine stepping into a thread of 1960s London, where the scent of vinyl and rebellion curls around every cobblestone. What makes it unique is its refusal to simply replay history—each scene feels like a gallery of your own obsessions, with the past stitched into your present via slick visuals that seem to pulse. The standout moment arrives when Helena Bonham Carter's character turns into an almost living billboard, her charisma suffusing the frame with a glittering tension that feels both seductive and sinister. Yet, the film's second act can drag, with dream sequences that overstay their welcome and leave your pulse stalling mid‑beat. You will be entranced if you crave atmospheric dread that lingers longer than the last note of a midnight track.
