Kimi (2022)

Your screen becomes a confining wall, and you feel every breath as you watch a secluded tech worker wrestle with her own limits. In this psychological thriller, the story unfolds through a silent, claustrophobic lens that forces you to confront agoraphobia the same way the protagonist does. A standout moment comes when a flicker of video evidence shatters the monotony, turning digital files into a breathing, tangible threat. You will find yourself pulled into a tense, almost breathless chase, while the film’s sparse dialogue lets the atmosphere and pacing do the talking. The movie feels like a mirror held up to anyone who doubts their own courage, making it an intimate watch for evening solitude.
