Killer Whale (2026)

Imagine a lagoon that feels like a black hole, its water swallowing your breath before you realize you're not alone. In Killer Whale, the friendship between Maddie and Trish dissolves into paranoia as they confront Ceto, a killer whale that becomes a relentless specter. The film's most striking craft lies in its use of low-key lighting and practical water effects, turning every splash into a pulse of suspense. As the tension escalates, you find yourself glancing at your phone to breathe, aware that the ocean itself is the protagonist. This tense, psychological thriller will haunt those who thrive in isolation and subtle dread.
