Kesong Puti (2026)

Imagine tasting a humble cheese that fills an entire town with chatter, and you’re right there in the heart of a Filipino village, savoring the aroma of a story that starts with a squeeze of butter. What sets this light-hearted, culinary film apart is its honest devotion to the craft of homemade cheese, unfolding like a love letter to everyday generosity. The most striking element is Manny’s slow-burn cheese‑making montage, where each wheel rots and blooms, turning the simple act of measuring salt into a feast for the senses. Yet, the film stumbles midway through its second act, when the humor runs a tad slower than the narrative pace. You’ll find yourself rooting for two cheery characters while craving fresh mozzarella, making it a feast for romance lovers and foodies alike.
