In the Lost Lands (2025)

You step into a world where the boundary between the living and the spectral blurs, and the Lost Lands feel like a living entity that draws you in. The film treats those shifting landscapes as a character, mirroring Gray Alys’s inner turmoil while keeping you on your toes. A single, uninterrupted night‑time chase lit only by bioluminescent vines showcases the director’s long‑take mastery. If you crave surreal, high‑concept fantasy with a relentless pace, this will satisfy you. Still, the final confrontation drags and suddenly rushes toward its conclusion, a minor blemish on an otherwise gripping experience.
