Impossible Things (2021)

So close yet so far, you feel the thin crack between self and neighbor that Matilde pushes past in quiet moments of bravery. What makes this psychological drama shine is its slow burn, letting you inhale the dread of a post‑abuse morning that never truly ends. Julieta Cardinali’s nuanced performance becomes the film’s heartbeat, her silence ringing louder than any dialogue. Director Alex Sola's restrained camera work weaves unblinking visuals, turning each frame into a chess move. However, a pacing knot in the middle sees the story stall a little, making you wonder if it could have stayed tighter.
